Episode 0 – Intro to Office ADHD

Jenna: Hello, happy people, and welcome to Office ADHD. Hello and welcome to Office ADHD. I’m your host, jenna saunders, and this is your introductory podcast podcast to let you know about how things are going to run around here. So first thing you need to know is that there are going to be two different types of episodes. There’s the Tuesday episodes and the Friday episodes. The Tuesday episodes will come out every other Tuesday, and they’re going to be about having adult ADHD tips and tricks, different things about organizing, things like that for those of us that get distracted a lot, and updates on the business and what things are going and how I can use your help and more about that in a minute. But next is the Friday episodes. Every Friday you get to be invited into my ADHD brain and you get a post about whatever happened to strike me as interesting that week, or funny or whatever comes out. Because random is the spice of life and we have to just embrace it sometimes, decides it keeps things interesting. Let me tell you a little bit more about why I started this podcast and that’ll make your Tuesday episodes make more sense. So, first off, I was diagnosed with ADHD a little bit later in life as an adult, and I found that it was pretty confusing at first. It’s a lot to take in, and I still, even now, years later, after my diagnosis, learn more about it, find interesting things. And I want to help other people who are on that path who are saying, hey, I’m an adult with ADHD because it’s not something that goes away and what do I do with myself, how do I figure this life out? And what are different things about my brain that I didn’t know either? So that’s different things we’re working on there. Also, I want to create products for adults to fidget with and adults to use to help, because right now there are tons of amazing fidgets and cool things out there for kids with ADHD. The problem is they look like they’re for kids and they don’t really have a place in a professional office. And, you know, when adults use them, they look like they’re for kids. So my goal is to make things that are fidgety and fun and help those of us who have to be in adult situations but still need something to play with. And so that is your introduction. Thank you for joining us. Invite your friends and let’s have some fun. As always, thanks so much for listening. And if you want to know more about any anything we talked about today, or if you want to be part of the discussion, join us at Office Adhd.com. Thanks so much for listening. See you next time!
